The Class Pass gives current students at Azusa Pacific University unlimited rides on Foothill Transit buses all school year long! It also helps the entire community by reducing traffic and parking congestion around campus. Not bad for a piece of plastic.

The Class Pass is accepted on all Foothill Transit Local and Silver Streak buses, which connect to 22 different cities throughout the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys, plus downtown Los Angeles. Your Class Pass does not include the Commuter Express Lines 493, 495, 497, 498, 499 and 699.

Your class pass is loaded onto a TAP card that is accepted on 25 transit agencies across LA County. If you want to transfer to another agency, you can load cash value onto your card. Find out how on our TAP page.

Just bring your current student ID to Cougar Dome and ask for your Class Pass.

If you lose your Class Pass, report your lost pass and pay a $10 replacement fee at the Cougar Dome, and you’ll get a new Class Pass on the spot!

Foothill Transit Lines 188, 281, 284, and 488 serve campus — check out the map for locations of stops.

Line 188 Schedule: buses leave approximately every 15 minutes. Stops include:

• Azusa Intermodal Transit Center, where you can make FREE TRANSFERS to the Line 187, with stops at:

Line 281 Schedule: buses leave approximately every thirty minutes. Stops include:

• Eastland Center
• Puente Hills Mall, where you can make FREE TRANSFERS to lines that serve El Monte Station and Pomona.

Line 284 Schedule: buses leave approximately every hour. Stops include:

2. Go to your bus stop — it’ll be marked with a large sign in Foothill Transit blue and green.
3. Make sure you board the right bus — when a bus pulls up to the stop, look at its line number and destination on the sign above the windshield.
4. Pay your fare — just touch your Class Pass to the “TAP” symbol right on the farebox and listen for the beep.
5. Move as far to the back as you can, and find a seat or hold onto the handrail — please leave seats at the front open for elderly and disabled passengers.
6. Request a stop — when the bus approaches your stop, pull the cord or press the tape running along the windows, then exit through the doors in the back!

Your Class Pass is valid through the end of the school year as long as you remain enrolled in at least one credit unit on-campus at APU. If you have any issues with your pass, visit Cougar Dome.
