Single Trip | $0.75 |
Day Pass* | $3.00 |
10-Trip Pass | $6.00 |
31-Day Pass | $30.00 |
EZ Transit*** | $42.00 |
TAP Agency Transfers are $0.25 or FREE with an EZ Transit Pass.
*The day pass is valid on the day of activation through 3 a.m. the following morning and is accepted on local lines and the Silver Streak. Only available for purchase with the TAP LA app or on board the bus. If you’re buying the pass on board the bus, follow these instructions.
- Tell your bus operator you want to buy a Day Pass BEFORE you add money to the farebox or tap your card. This is really important, because if you tap your card first, the farebox will automatically deduct the price of a one-way fare from your TAP card.
- Tap your TAP card on the blue circle when the bus operator indicates to. If you don’t have enough stored value on your card, you can pay the difference by inserting cash (no pennies) into the farebox. The operator can’t give you any change, so any additional cash will be loaded into the stored value on your card.
- That’s it – your Day Pass is loaded. You can now ride any local line and the Silver Streak as often as you like until 3 a.m. the next day. You’ll need to tap your card every time you board the bus.
**Foothill Transit to Foothill Transit transfers are free within 2 hours if you pay with a TAP card. See our full transfer policy.
***If you travel between different transit systems, in the Los Angeles County, then this is the pass for you. The EZ transit pass is good for travel on 26 different transit agencies in L.A. County, including us! EZ transit passes are monthly passes. They are available to purchase at our Transit Stores beginning the 25th of the previous month through the 10th of the current month.
