Transfer Policy
 

Transfers are purchasable for $0.50 when you pay your full fare at time of boarding. 

 Discount transfers for eligible seniors and persons with disabilities are available for $0.25.  You can only use transfers once within the printed time and date, regardless of direction.  Foothill Transit transfers are worth the dollar value of the customer's local fare. 

 Customers wishing to use a transfer to board the SIlver Streak, Lines 481 and 690, or Commuter Express service must pay the difference.    

Silver Streak, Lines 481 and 690:                                                                                 Transfer + $1.50  

For Senior/Disabled Silver Streak,  Lines 481 and 690:              

Transfer + $0.75 - during off-peak hours ONLY  

For Senior/Disabled Silver Streak,  Lines 481 and 690:              

Transfer + $2.00 - during peak hours ONLY   

Commuter Express Lines:                        

Transfer + $3.40    

Monthly passes and tickets from Metrolink and interagency transfers are good for one boarding on all LOCAL Foothill Transit lines.  Customers wishing to board the Silver Streak, Line 481 or 690 will have to pay an upcharge. 

Monthly passes and tickets from Metrolink are not valid for use on Foothill Transit Commuter Express lines.  Only the full cash fare of $4.40, the Foothill Transit 31-Day Commuter Express Pass, and the EZ Transit P5 Pass are good for use on Commuter Express lines. 

Foothill Transit transfers are also accepted by Los Angeles Metro. 

OCTA and Omnitrans Policy:

Monthly passes, day passes, and transfers from OmniTrans and OCTA are accepted as one Adult Local Fare at the following locations:    

OmniTrans bus at Indian Hill Blvd. and Holt Ave.

OmniTrans bus at Montclair Transcenter

OmniTrans bus at Pomona TransCenter

OCTA bus at Beach and La Habra

OCTA bus at Brea Mall   

Customers wishing to board the Silver Streak, Lines 481 or 690, or Commuter Express service must pay the difference.
