Description
Foothill Transit is issuing this Request for
Proposals No 05-040 (RFP) soliciting proposals from qualified firms
to provide a Transit Point-of-Sale (POS) system as specified in Part
III of this RFP to track sales in its Transit Stores, as well as
online pass sales. A replacement system is being procured because
the current POS system no longer meets the needs of Foothill Transit.
The proposed system should integrate into Foothill’s Microsoft
SQL Server environment, and must interact with other applications
used by Foothill Transit. The new system will be used by Transit
Store staff members, and by Foothill Transit management at Foothill
Transit’s administrative headquarters to view, manage, and
control POS system operations and reporting.
