Description
Foothill Transit is issuing this Request for Proposals No 05-038 (RFP)
soliciting proposals from qualified firms to develop and implement an
effective bird control system and facility clean-up of its maintenance and
operations facility located at 200 East End Avenue in the City of Pomona,
California.
Foothill Transit's own investigation has determined that pigeons and other birds are nesting along the western interior wall above the ceilings of offices and restrooms, above air handling tubes, air monitoring equipment, and electrical vault rooms. Additionally, our observations have shown that birds are also loafing and roosting on the exterior building roof ledge and above the buildings roll-up bay doors.
