Description
Foothill Transit is seeking proposals from architectural and engineering
firms with specific expertise in parking facility design to provide
consulting services to Foothill Transit in connection with the plans
of Foothill Transit and Faith Community Church to construct a multi-story
parking structure with approximately 1,000-parking-spaces. The services
will include programming, preliminary design, final construction,
documents, assistance in the preparation of the Invitation for Bids
(IFB) for construction, assistance in the preparation of Addenda
and responding to questions related to the bid documents, participation
at a pre-bid Job-Walk and Conference, bid submittal evaluation, construction
administration including materials testing, and record drawings.
The structure is intended to be used during peak periods on weekdays
by Foothill Transit commuter customers as a park-and-ride facility;
and during non-peak weekday periods (evenings) and on weekends for
use by Faith Community Church. The proposed project will be constructed
on property that is owned by Faith Community Church in the City of
West Covina, California.
