Transit Store Customer Representative

Position Description

Responsible for handling customer inquiries via phone, selling various fare media and assist store manager with various reports.

General Duties:

  • Answer phones and handle customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Sell passes and assure reconciliation is accurate
  • Sell various fare media
  • Follow up with sales reports as necessary
  • Assist store manager with various reports
  • Notify store manager immediately of any problems that arise
  • Assist when needed at other transit store locations
  • Position is part-time and starts at $8.50 an hour

Qualifications & Requirements

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of cash register and money handling
  • General knowledge of computers; Microsoft office preferred

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year experience in customer service
  • Type 35 wpm minimum FLSA Exempt: No
